In the Basilica, there are dozens of side chapels dedicated to
particular titles of Mary. THe chapels are located throughout the Basilica;
some are chapels along the sides of the narthex of the main church, some are
along the sides of an open area elsewhere in the basilica. Devotional
Masses are actually celebrated in these tiny chapels. Each has a unique
design befitting its theme. Many pertain to certain ethnic groups.
